Wi-Fi Expansion Phase 1, 2016

The Achieve IT: Network Everywhere enterprise project was first funded in 2016 to expand Wi-Fi access and improve wireless connectivity on campus. Phase one, to expand wireless access in 30 academic buildings, was completed in August 2016. 

The first phase brought major improvements to the campus network, including faster connections and easier access so that can stay logged into a single, secure Wi-Fi network as they go across campus. 

During phase one, wireless internet access was expanded in the following buildings:

  • Business Building (WCOB), July 31
